Another Judy Millar

Just when I thought I had seen all the Judy Millar possible without a trip to Berlin, the Gow Langsford gallery has displayed another one for my pleasure. I am starting to wonder just how many they have tucked away in their vaults???

It is again a use of the pre-mixed glazes but there is not as much interaction as with the others, so I am wondering if each colour was applied separately. But there is very little play going on here, so it must have taken some restraint to simply apply the glaze and go. So it looks chaotic and energetic but in fact the paint may simply have been applied in the opposite way.

Needless to say, I am enjoying it.
